This is the very first "Limited Edition" model by Takamine. It came out in 1987 to commemorate their 25th anniversary.
Limited to no more than 400 units, this is a truly rare, vintage, absolutely stunning guitar.
This beauty sounds incredible unplugged, but truly comes to life plugged in. The electronics are phenomenal.
Completely original, and comes complete with its original brown hardshell case (also in excellent condition).
25th Anniversary (1987) The EF25 comes equipped with Takamine's palathetic pickup and a 3-band slider controlled parametric equalizer. The white color is contrasted by golden rings around the sound hole, a gold Takamine logo and gold tuners. White gloss finish aged to a beautiful creamy white.
This guitar has been played, but is in excellent condition. The only flaws I notice are one small nick on the back, and one on the back of the neck (pictured), as well as the gold hardware has faded over time. There is a small patch of faint discoloration midline on the bass bout, and another just above it on the top side, but nothing too noticeable. This is a very nice, unique guitar!
